The problem

Most Catholic families already have advisors. Few have advisors who see the whole picture.

You may already have a financial advisor, estate planning attorney, CPA, insurance professional, or charitable strategy in place. Most Catholic families discover those pieces were never designed to work together around the faith they hope to live and pass on.

Your portfolio may not reflect your faith.

A typical portfolio includes companies whose business practices conflict with Catholic teaching on human life, family, and dignity. More than 1 in 10 dollars, on average, with roughly 50 companies in the S&P 500 failing Catholic investment screens.

A legal plan is not a Catholic family plan.

Most plans cover the documents. Few address whether your family, your wealth, and your end-of-life decisions remain guided by the teachings of the Church.

No one was helping the family see the whole picture. That does not mean your family has done anything wrong. Most Catholic families were never shown a way to integrate legal, financial, and stewardship decisions in one conversation.

That is why Trusted Catholic Advisors exists: vetted Catholic financial advisors and estate planning attorneys helping families steward wealth with clarity, coordination, and fidelity to their faith.

Investment data: USCCB Socially Responsible Investment Guidelines (2021); S&P 500 Catholic Values Index; CBIS Catholic Responsible Investing.

The standard

The standard every advisor must meet.

Every Trusted Catholic Advisor has met all nine points of our certification standard. They are certified, not simply listed in a directory. We introduce your family only to an advisor we would trust with our own family.

Vetted on three fronts

Shares your faith.

Personally Catholic or fully Catholic-aligned, and fluent in why it matters to your family.

The gold standard in their profession.

CFP, CFA, or CPA for advisors; ten or more years of estate planning specialty for attorneys.

Integrates Catholic teaching into how they advise.

USCCB Socially Responsible Investment screening and the Trusted Catholic Advisor certification, not values as an afterthought.

The standard published here is the standard every introduction meets.

How it works

Three steps. Two minutes.

Step 01

Tell us about your family

About two minutes. Your priorities, your stage of life, and how you want your faith reflected in the plan.

Step 02

We match you

Up to three vetted Trusted Catholic Advisors within one business day, with full credentials before any introduction.

Step 03

You decide

Begin with a simple conversation to discern fit. No obligation, and you can request a new match anytime.

What the right advisor makes possible

Legal, financial, practical, and spiritual, held together.

Most plans address one or two of these. The right advisor helps your family hold together all four, so the faith you live by is the same faith you hope to pass on.

Legal

Your family is protected, and your wishes are honored.

The people you trust can step in when it matters, and what you pass on carries your faith and your values, not just your assets.

Financial

Your money works for what you believe.

Investments aligned with your Catholic faith, without sacrificing diversification or your long-term goals.

Practical

When the hard day comes, your family knows exactly what to do.

A plan they can actually use, with the people you trust ready for their roles, so what they feel is your love and foresight, not confusion.

Spiritual

Your children inherit your faith, not only your wealth.

A legacy that passes on what you believe, so the next generation carries the witness, not just the inheritance.

Our story

Why Guided by Grace exists.

Laura K. Meier, Esq., a Catholic mother of four and estate planning attorney, kept meeting faithful families who had all the documents in place, yet still felt unsettled. Their legal plans protected their assets but rarely reflected what they actually believed about family, stewardship, end-of-life care, and the faith they hoped to pass on to their children.

Shannon Eusey saw the same problem on the financial side. As co-founder of Beacon Pointe, one of the largest registered investment advisory firms in the country, she watched Catholic families struggle to find financial guidance that treated faith as more than a side conversation.

Together, Laura and Shannon built Guided by Grace so Catholic families no longer have to navigate legal, financial, practical, and spiritual decisions through disconnected advice that never fully reflects their faith.

Laura’s Guided by Grace and Shannon’s Your Dollars, Our Sense both carry the imprimatur of Bishop Kevin W. Vann of the Diocese of Orange, a rare Catholic distinction recognizing that they faithfully present Catholic teaching on stewardship, family, and financial life.

Trusted Catholic Advisors is how that mission reaches families today: vetted Catholic financial advisors and estate planning attorneys helping families hold together their faith, their wealth, and the legacy they hope to leave behind.

Laura K. Meier, Esq. with Bishop Kevin W. Vann, holding the 2026 Bishop's Award for Exemplary Business Integrity.
In a world that often prioritizes the material over the spiritual, let us remember our true purpose. Our decisions and preparations today are a testament to our faith and the love we have for our families.

Bishop Kevin W. Vann, foreword to Guided by Grace.

Bishop's Award, Diocese of Orange, 2026.

What is a Trusted Catholic Advisor?

The three standards every advisor must meet, and how this differs from a directory.

Why finding the right advisor matters

The gap most Catholic families don't realize they have, and what changes when the right advisor brings investing, estate, and giving together.

How matching works

Three steps. One business day. What to expect in the first conversation.

Questions, answered

Everything families ask before getting matched.

  • No. The match is offered for your consideration, and you decide what to do with it. Many families simply have an introductory conversation before deciding whether to make any change. If the first match is not the right fit, tell us and we will match you again. No cost, no pressure, no obligation. The promise is fit, not a sale.

When your family is ready

A coordinated Catholic plan starts here.

Without a Trusted Catholic Advisor

Drift.

  • Your portfolio quietly funds what your faith opposes.

  • Your advisor never asks about your faith, and you never bring it up.

  • The faith you live by at home never reaches the financial life you would pass on.

  • Your children inherit the wealth, but not the witness behind it.

With a Trusted Catholic Advisor

Alignment.

  • Your money works for what your family actually believes.

  • Your investments, your estate plan, and your giving move as one, under the teachings of the Church.

  • The Catholic stewardship you have lived in your home is finally lived in your financial plan.

  • Your children inherit not only wealth, but witness, and what you have built strengthens the Church for the next generation.

There is real peace in knowing your plan finally reflects the faith you live by and hope to pass on. Whenever your family is ready, we will walk alongside you.
