How Guided by Grace collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information.

Last updated June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Guided By Grace, LLC (“Guided by Grace,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit our website or use our educational matching service. Guided by Grace is a Catholic stewardship initiative and educational resource; we are not a law firm, registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or accounting firm. Please read this policy carefully so you understand our practices.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us and a limited amount of technical information about how you use our site.

Information you provide. When you contact us, request a match with a professional, sign up for our communications, register for a workshop, or download a resource, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, the state in which you live, and any other details you include in a form or message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, such as your device and browser type, general location derived from your IP address, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide the information or resources you request.
  • Provide our educational matching service, including introducing you to a Catholic-aligned professional when you request a match.
  • Send you communications you have signed up for, such as our newsletter, and follow up about your requests.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Professionals you ask to be matched with. When you request an introduction, we share the information needed to make that introduction with the Catholic-aligned financial advisor, estate planning attorney, or firm we connect you to, so they can follow up with you. Once introduced, that professional handles your information under their own privacy practices.
  • Service providers. We use trusted vendors to operate our site and services, such as intake and form providers, email and communications tools, hosting, and analytics. They may process your information only to perform services for us.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Guided by Grace, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We may be compensated in connection with certain introductions. See our Disclosures for details about how we are paid and the conflicts of interest that result.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files placed on your device that help a website function and help us understand how the site is used. We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the site secure, and compile aggregate analytics about site traffic so we can improve the experience.

You can set your browser to warn you about cookies or to refuse them. If you turn cookies off, some features of the site may not function properly. We do not use your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your privacy choices and California rights

You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of each email, and you can ask us to update or delete your information by emailing us.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • The right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it.
  • The right to request deletion of the personal information we have collected from you.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
  • The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted under the CCPA/CPRA.
  • The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will verify your request and respond as required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, respond to your requests, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information, including limiting access to those who need it to do their work and using secure, reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, our site does not currently respond to them. As noted above, we do not use your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date below. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
